One Pot Chicken Vegetable and Rice Soup

Ingredients
  

  • 24 oz chicken broth
  • 2 chicken breasts cubed
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 squash diced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2-3 carrots peeled and sliced
  • 2-3 celery stalks sliced thinly
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tsp thyme
  • 1 ½ tsp sage

Instructions
 

  • Bring chicken broth to a boil as you begin cutting chicken breasts into bite size cubes.
  • Add chicken and rice.
  • Add in vegetables as chopping.
  • Allow to boil for 15-20 minutes then adjust temperature to a simmer (low/medium heat).
  • Serve soup after allowing to cool slightly.
