- 1 lb ground beef
- 12 ounces frozen broccoli or two heads of fresh broccoli
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos or soy sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Rice make as many servings as your household requires
Begin by cooking your rice. The amount of rice will depend on the amount of servings your household requires.
After the rice begins to boil, lower the heat, and place the lid on the pot.
As the rice cooks, begin browning the ground beef on medium heat. When the beef is half cooked, add the salt, pepper, and paprika. After it has browned completely, add coconut aminos and teriyaki sauce.
Steam broccoli over the stovetop or in the microwave (if using frozen broccoli).
Add broccoli and mushrooms to the ground beef and allow to simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring regularly.
Serve beef and broccoli over rice.
